Portland Cooks!! Event Co-locates with Home Improvement & Remodeling

Show: Audience Expands to Estimated 20,000

Portland, Ore - May 27, 2005 -- The 4th annual Portland Cooks!! culinary event,

offering everything for the home gourmet, is co-locating this year with the 30th

Annual Home Improvement and Remodeling Show, taking place at the Oregon

Convention Center on September 22 - 25, 2005. This marrying of two events in

one is projected to expand the attendance at the combined events to an

estimated 20,000 attendees who are interested in "everything kitchen,

everything food". In addition to the convenience provided to attendees via the

co-location of the two events, marketing efforts to draw the audience to the

event will be compounded, as each event production company's advertising will

augment the other's. This benefits the exhibitor in either event tremendously, as

the number of prospective customers in attendance will greatly increase over

previous years for both events. Attendees can visit both events on one

contiguous floorplan, and with one ticket price of $10 per person. Discount

coupons will be offered through select sponsors of the event. With this co-

location, however, space is limited on the exhibit floor for the Portland Cooks!!
